Isla Ometepe, Nicaragua!

Bon matin à tous!  

Ce matin, on s'est fait réveillé par des singes hurleurs, les singes qui sonnent comme des lions.. Autour de 5h30 du matin, les différentes familles de singes hurleurs se lancent des cris.. Chacun leur tour, ils désignent leur territoire.  Ce matin, dans la Finca Magdalena, une ferme au pied du volcan Madera sur l'ile Ometepe au Nicaragua, nous étions entourés de singes hurleurs, ils se promenaient dans les arbres autour de nous.  Ils descendent très rarement des arbres, mais ils étaient tellement prêts et leur cris sont tellement puissants, c'était un peu comme s'ils préparaient une attaque et voulaient reprendre possesion du territoire... Dans notre petite tente au milieu de la jungle, avec seulement un moustiquaire nous séparant d'eux,  c'était vraiment impressionnant.

Good morning!

We were woke up this morning by howlers monkeys.. they sound just like lions.  Around 5h30 am, the different familys of monkeys scream at each others.  Each of them claim their territory, few times a day.   At this hour they are they only one awake.. then slowly the birds start singing and the suns comes up.  This morning at la Finca Magdalena, a cacao, coffee, bananas farm at the bottom of the volcano Madera on the island ometepe in Nicaragua we felt really priviligious.  Around us all these monkeys and their powerfull scream were claiming back their territories.  They almost always stay really high in the trees, but in out little tent with only a mosquitos net between us and them it was really impressive.
